About This Project

Working for repeat clients relocating from McMahons Point to the Nth Sydney CBD, Urban building was charged with completing a high end ‘New York style’ fit-out within a stock standard 200m2 office suite. As always budget, schedule and quality were the key drivers for this bespoke project.

The most prominent feature within this project is the use of pale quartz carpet flooring, resulting in a hard wearing yet manageable floor finish offering a neutral colour pallet that is offset by strong colours in tan leather banquet seating and black powder-coated glazing mullions, custom joinery and carpet tiles. The fit out is then softened using V-joint wall panelling coupled with pendant & wall mounted lighting and mirrors, with life added to the space through potted ferns and palms.

A CEO’s office, ten-person boardroom, four managers alcoves, workstations for ten staff, sound insulated quiet rooms, utilities area and break-out area featuring a custom galley style kitchen and bench seating meets the client’s requirements.

All aspects of the project from certification through to occupation where successfully managed by Urban Building with the project finished on budget and within schedule.
